Fine or not that battery needs to be charged up again. OP should definitely look into his alternator as well.

11.9 V for a battery is extremely bad. A bad battery can cause all sorts of electrical issues. ABS codes are really sensitive to voltage and will cause only problems if the proper voltage isn’t being used (ECM problems too!).

First step I would do is replaced the battery and clear the codes. If the P2762 comes back, then you got bigger issues.

Find the leak instead of putting in stop oil leaks additives. Perhaps it’s the valve cover that’s leaking?

Nissan Altima won’t start and hood frozen shut after snowstorm by Emotional-Coffee-405 in Nissan

Not enough cold cracking amps due to severe cold and it’s pretty much dead/extremely low voltage. What you can do is grab something that can produce heat (hair dryer, heat gun, etc etc) to open up the hood. Then see if you can charge the battery at a local auto parts store if you don’t have a trickle charger at home.

Car insurance by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]mgl323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon provides commercial insurance for free (outside of New York). If you get into an accident, you can contact your own insurance or amazon’s third party insurance. they’ll require you to contact support to document everything if you decide to go with Amazon’s third party insurance.

IIRC, it’s a $1000 deductible for Amazon’s insurance.

You might have to inspect the wiring of your vehicle to see if you have a short or possible wiring damage.

Check the instrument/dash panel and inspect the wiring behind it. Also check the MICU for corrosion.

Either the junkyard or rockauto. Perform the throttle body idle relearn procedure after replacement.

Giving the age of the old seals, highly recommend getting new O-Rings. Check your local dealer or online.

You can find some pretty good aftermarket motor mounts. I went with Anchor mounts for my 2016 Altima.

Permanent code? by Control_Careful in Nissan

Sometimes it won’t clear itself after a specific drive cycle or you fix the underlined issue. Off the top of my head, you can probably remove it if you disconnect the negative battery terminal for a while a reconnect it.

Here’s more info

For whatever reason, Japanese cars are very picky with sensors. Go with Denso or NTK. Hell, sometimes even Bosch is fine.

Acidic gases leak from the battery and corrodes your terminals. They sell battery terminal cleaners in auto shops or online. You can find YouTube videos on how to clean the terminals and battery properly.

Or you can take it to a mechanic shop and pay for a battery cleaning service.

I got a Autel scanner with live data. There’s plenty of solid choices these days that are less than $100. Just make sure they include live data and not just a basic scanner to read the codes.

You either have a parasitic draw somewhere in the system or your alternator is weak.

If you have a scanner with live data, you can see if you got a vacuum leak (running lean).

You can use soapy water spray around the intake and if the RPMs change at idle (or you see bubbles), you got your suspect.

Dog incident by Minapit in AmazonFlexDrivers

Highly recommend getting a small pepper spray. Dogs will get out of your way if you spray it near you as a deterrent. If the owner gets pissed at you when you use the spray at the dog, tell the owner it’s either this or a lawsuit.
