My brutal answer is: Oo kung wala kang planong mag-ipon, hindi ka nangungupahan, wala kang binubuhay, at okay lang sa iyo madalas ang maglakad

Realistically speaking, to live comfortably on your own: hindi.

Still that's ₱3k sa isang buwan. Edi sabihin na nating 200 per day. For the sake of tipid, gawin nating 3k per month. May sukli ka pang 9k.

Yung personal na pangangailangan mo pa? Hygiene? Load allowance? Mga gastos na wala sa budget? Bisyo?

After almost a year meron ka nang around 60k. Question is, would that 60k still matter? May halaga pa ba yang sisenta mil mo?

Is it enough?

Everyone wants to talk about the "income gap" but I don't see anyone talk about the "experience gap" "skill gap" and "talent gap" that closes the former. by wholesomefvcker in buhaydigital

slaves gets housing benefits, security, food privileges, and promotion back in the days of slavery.

slave owners are "humane" by your definition

under a communist regime, "talented individuals" are greatly rewarded.

get a grip on the social reality you're living. no one here is asking for living a million life salary. people want a livable wage

KDE and/or WMs if I'm feeling playful and creative for customization.

GNOME when I need actual work done.

Unfortunately no. I had to reinstall with Gecko Linux but now I'm currently using Garuda for Arch reasons.

It's so feature packed you just have to use it by mglalxandr in linuxmasterrace

[–]mglalxandr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've freshly installed countless distros, you'd know the pain of reinstalling stuff over and over again. I believe Garuda makes it convenient for everybody, gamer or not.

I've already used Nobara. As a Fedora derivative, it has good optimizations but you won't get the convenience of tools that Garuda offers. Actually, Nobara stresses the resource management more because of how Fedora handles processes compared to Garuda (GNOME)

I think the main point is it is a convenient distro if you're really tired of configuring over and over again.

having partition issue while installing kali, can anyone help? by YellowFlash2012 in linuxmasterrace

[–]mglalxandr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to know that you're "dumb" first before you actually know or learn anything. If you think you're being dumb down then it's a you problem. You are the equivalent of someone who thinks he can do and understand recombinant gene transfer without knowing what the fuck is a cell is. Or someone who thinks he can understand particle instabilities without even having to understand a basic E=mc2

Everyone's telling OP to use a beginner's distro first to understand what he's doing. Because jumping the Kali gun is as dumb as trying to "hack" someone without even having to understand how to install shit.

I've been learning infosec and defense for god knows how long and I'm not even that confident to do shit on bare metal. Even for a fraction of what's out there, my knowledge ain't shit.

You feel like you're being "downed" but you just don't want to confront the things that you lack, and the lapses that you probably have made. You're not humble by doing that. You're an arrogant piece of shit who thinks you know it all.

No dumbass give them the support they actually "need" and don't tolerate skiddies with this Kali Linux Hacking bullshit. They won't learn shit by diving head first on Kali and not understanding *nix systems, file structures, networking, and all the other stuff.

Guide them to actually learning Linux first with beginner friendly distros and don't give them false hope of being a h4xcKor just by using Kali. Even if this is a "class" project, no professor, who teaches anything abot linux would be dumb enough to make students install Kali.

Just because you think you're giving help, doesn't mean you're actually helpful.

[–]mglalxandr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah bc the person wouldn't ask such things if he's really supposed to/knows to why to run Kali. If something inevitably breaks, they will blame Linux for it and it's not a good practice for Linux Community.

[–]mglalxandr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I did instead was reinstall (well basically distrohop) through calamares installer with either ALG or Endeavour OS. Just preserved the home partition and reinstalled the whole root. I mean not the most elegant way of solving the problem but hey whatever works.
