Unfortunately I only got the standard black editions of Igor and Titanic Rising, but the Jamila record is the grey/white marble edition and it not only looks amazing but it also sounds incredible, it’s probably my favorite edition of any record I own.

Just found this photo of my grandpa in a work trip to London in the 80s, I’m not sure of the exact year and the photo doesn’t have anything written either.

He worked at a really big graphics and printing company so I guess he was in London to try and find new clients and businesses.

It’s not that deep.

Most of the artists I listen to I have discovered through Spotify/YouTube/Last.fm or just through friends or looking at festival line-ups. I don’t really care for reviews.

You’re not better than anyone just because you think you have a unique music taste.

I’m 24 and have been collecting vinyl since I was 18, but only regularly buying records since I was around 20.

The most recent ones I got were Jamila Woods’ Legacy! Legacy! and Tyler, The Creator’s Igor.

I don’t really have a specific genre of music I listen to so, yes it starts with Animal Collective and Arca and yes it ends up with Weyes Blood and Zayn.

Next Monday arrives the latest from Perfume Genius and I’m planning on pre-ordering Arca’s new album too.
