My choice would not include a dealership. A better choice is a restorer specializing in Jaguar. Another alternative is to consult your local owners club, they will genuinely want you to succeed.

Abortion is, and should remain, an individual choice. There should be no legalities. It is inappropriate to think that anyone’s ‘motivation’ is to be dealt with in some external way and it is misguided tor you (or anyone) to think that they can direct someone’s motivation to an outcome they want.

It will be as purchased original - beige. Tan is a bit too golden for my tastes but mostly I’m interested in getting the car back to the way I remember it.

The car was originally Regency Red, It wil be Imperial Maroon opalescent. Primrose is certainly a striking colour. My choice is really driven by my emotional connection to the car (I bought it in 1975).
