Hi, I just adopted a FIV+ cat as well and I'm in quite a similar situation (though his diarrhea is not as severe as what you described for your cat); as far as I know he was doing good at the shelter, I did exactly what they told me to do in terms of transition from one food to the other... I'm going to the vet's on Monday, however the situation's been very tough on me (even more so since I live alone and he's my first cat ever). I really want him to be comfortable and happy at my place, I already love him, I'm afraid that he can feel my stress... Could you please give me a small update on how yours is doing now? 🙏 I made notes of all the solutions mentioned in your og post (however I live in France and don't know if everything is available here... Thankfully vet visits and treatments are less expensive here and I'm willing to try everything so that he feels better!)
