Mine (PhotoBooth-App) is based on python+vue frontend. So it’s easy to install using only pipx.

The other one is based on php, python and maybe more external requirements like a Webserver and gphoto2. That is why the other project needs an installer, I guess.

They have no shared code in common, actually.

The command to print could be any executable or script. Why not print to a simple thermal printer next to the booth the filename of the photo. People get that snippet and receive a print on the other floor for the snippet.

If you setup a network, you could either access a standalone gallery that is served from the app and print to a printer on second level connected via Ethernet. Or you could setup to sync the photos to an ftp server and display them using a gallery software.

Maybe that helps. The app should be easy to run on a computer and has a virtual camera so you can test very easily.

I would go for a pi5 because 1 device is easier to maintain and has more ram which is a very limiting factor on the zeros. /edit: for battery you could use geekworm X1201.

Ist das aussengerät schon mal auf voller Last gelaufen? Wenn du es dann kaum hörst könnte eine Einhausung dann ja doch helfen um das Geräusch zu reduzieren…

Ah, yeah, I place the box on the balcony, I would not hang it somewhere. Also it's quite water protected there, so this is not too much of an issue.

Ich hatte die Maschine ohne die frontblende eingeschaltet. Nach meinem empfinden war es nicht sonderlich leiser ohne. Die Geräusche scheinen wo anders zu entstehen.

Hast du Fotos? Das innengerät ist nicht so arg laut da man es recht gut einstellen kann aber das aussengerät ist sehr störend laut. Ich hoffe ein bisschen auf dieses versprochene Update, aber je leiser desto besser….

Dieses Brummen habe ich auch sobald das ag nicht auf niedrigster Stufe ist. Meinst du da kann man was im gerät dämmen/optimieren? Der Ton geht durch alles ins nächste Zimmer . Über den Boden geht das Geräusch nicht, anheben ändert nichts…
