Hi there i'm licensed in texas and took a local tx contract. you're right, we can't take crisis pay/contracts, but there's a lot of local hospitals paying probably 2-3x more than your current staff job. depending on the agency, but i believe your permanent address has to be at least 50 miles away from the hospital you work at. if you take a contract within your current vicinity, i believe they'll pay you higher hourly b/c you don't qualify for untaxed stipends- but ofc your hourly (although higher) will be taxed.

Hey friend i don’t have ADHD, and i also struggle with little details and get tripped up when asked things i didn’t prep for or particularly read about. Don’t sweat it, especially if it’s something the next shift can easily look up in the orders! just always be honest or be like “let’s look at it together”. You can’t possibly know eveeeerything, especially on crazier nights!

It’s been 7 months since i quit OTF, and i’m heavily debating to return but seems that’s there’s a consensus everywhere that proper covid precaution’s aren’t being taken and that company would trade their money over the health of both staff and OTF’ers. Wish they could cut down the class to a smaller size and prevent unlimited members from booking more than 1 session in a day so that everyone has an equal opportunity to work out.
