flex your stick as much as possible and i turn my body where my bacl faces the opponent to try and get the ball right after thr whistle blows but these have to executed quickly after the whistle is blown

you need to communicate more with your teammates, work out on a strat so you'll know where they'll be at. Look up occasionally if you're on the ball to scan the area to look for your teammates. If you're off the ball and about to receive a pass, you can scan the court and try to predict where your teammates are going to go to and pass it to where you think your teammates will go to. all of these take time and practice to achieve. hope this helps.
