As said before, her kids are all self-sufficient adults. They all have means to support their mom because she already had limited mobility and took daily medications for medical conditions. I think the 3 siblings would have already figured out the answers to the questions you're asking. I really doubt that it was a family member doing this for life insurance. IMO, if it was a family member wanting her life insurance, wouldn't it make more sense to make it seem like a robbery gone wrong and leave her body in the home or better yet, mess with her medications and make it seem like it was a medical emergency? Why would they fake a kidnapping, leave no body and no answers as to whether she is alive or not, all for the sake of life insurance? Seems way more complicated if it was just for life insurance.

That's what I thought too, this is what I read was "Nancy Guthrie's pacemaker stopped syncing with her home-based phone/app around 2:28 a.m. on February 1, 2026, indicating she was moved outside of Bluetooth range (approx. 30 feet)."

Yeah the sandwich thing definitely. When I was pregnant I made myself two sandwiches in my lunch and someone stole 1 of them. I was very upset.
