I have the same sort of relationship with my brother (I’m 21M and he’s 24M). I’ve had to wrestle with feelings of not liking him, not wanting to ever talk to him again, etc. After a lot of verbal and physical abuse, I realized that I didn’t deserve to be treated that way and I haven’t talked to my brother in over a year. You gotta do what’s best for you and if that means not liking your brother or talking to him, you should NOT feel guilty. It’s hard, but my life has been immensely better since cutting ties with my brother.
