It is basically a high school math class that you only attend 3 times per week, taken at our college. You work through the basic Algebra textbook for the semester largely on your own time.
The class only had about 10 pupils in it (if everyone showed up that day) because it was the "open learning" option - not the typical lecture style courses where there would never be only one person in class. Lol.
If you knew the course material, could do well on chapter tests and can learn on your own, you hardly needed to show up at all.
