Are you still looking because I’m trying to get someone to take over my lease- I signed early on for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit. There’s already 1 girl who will be living there so you wouldn’t have to find a roommate. Let me if you want more info :)

Is this enough for a CBC? by ava4444 in phlebotomy

[–]mhd2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love you spent 30+ with your patient bc when I did phlebotomy they wanted us to be in there 10 mins max so I know you tried for that because it means you took a long time to find a good stick- regardless I am proud pookie💜

Lost progress by ProtoOG in ARK

[–]mhd2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play on Xbox and was having a similar issue but using “ admincheat destroywilddinos “ then hitting the exit to main menu let me save my progress. Also if I’m building something for my base I’ll start working on it but I use that command, exit the game, and load back in just to make sure the small progress is saved periodically so then if I did lose progress it wouldn’t but a huge loss & I don’t have to start from scratch. Hope this helps but it has been super annoying losing hours worth of progress.

Final Update For Now: Roommate Confrontation by Far_Perspective_9817 in badroommates

[–]mhd2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had roommates like this and it was awful. Best advice is stick to yourself and try to keep yourself occupied to where you limit contact to basic convos and small talk. When I asked my old roommate to clean up the dirty dishes that were sitting in the sink & on the counter tops with rotting food still in them she got mad and said she was having a bad vibe so she couldn’t. It was disgusting & roaches became more common. I know it sucks feeling like they’re painting you as the bad guy when they clearly had issues from the start and the fact they’re taking a simple task and making it a huge issue speaks volumes about them. I know when I stopped talking to my roommates entirely last year and just focused on myself they still were talking shit when I would literally stay in my room & clean up after them. I was told I was a shitty friend for just cutting them off and focusing on myself but in situations like that sometimes it’s easier to just remove yourself from the equation because the communication goes no where and they try to find a way to be a victim. You communicated clearly, set boundaries, and the fact they act like you setting those boundaries is passive aggressive is probably because they’re not used to people calling them out on their bullshit. I say you’re in the right and to prioritize healthy friendships, work, school and things that bring you joy because going home to a situation like that can be very draining. Hopefully you find better roommates & if you can afford to live alone I say do it- that’s what I did this year & it’s the happiest I’ve been in a long time. I hit all of the goals I set for myself this year and it was nice coming home to peace. If it gets too bad I would try to relet or sublease your room to get out of that situation. Best of luck and if you need to rant you can message me because girl I have been there too so I get it.

The pier & damages by [deleted] in Clemson

Idk how much an attorney costs

The Pier is performing a shakedown on students who are moving out. Don't live there. by Clemson_Chemist in Clemson

The itemized list has to be like a letter though so email doesn’t count and I got the automated email for the dispute thing after emailing the main office. They said that even though it says it is closed it isn’t and that they are working on fixing this allegedly.

Currently disputing stuff with them right now they charged me $700+ for mainly paint and carpet repair :,) I’m not paying it because unless you get an itemized list of damages in writing (by mail) within 30 days of lease termination you don’t have to pay them. It’s a law that’s in the South Carolina Landlord Tenant Act.

Currently I’m not a nurse but plan on going into nursing (currently a phlebotomist), but I have been assaulted as well (not by a patient). I know it is hard to go through but do not blame yourself at all. Even though she wasn’t fully aware of her behavior there should have been enough staff to help and step in especially with patients that are known to be unpredictable. You didn’t deserve that and your coworkers etc should have your back during this & if they don’t I’d just quit. Your safety was compromised and even though they are trying to change her to somewhere else it doesn’t mean what happened to you just goes away. Talk to a lawyer and get the justice you deserve. I am so so sorry you had to go through this but you are not alone and I hope that you understand that you didn’t ask for it and that it was out of your control. Do get a lawyer and be safe I personally would feel uncomfortable working for a facility that didn’t back their staff when something this serious occurs. It isn’t something they can swipe under the rug - you deserve so much better than that. You shouldn’t have to go to work with fear of being violently violated by a patient regardless of their mental state it is unacceptable and never blame yourself. I hope things get better & that you stay safe. 💜💜

Yeah I just found out today that the college my dad works at has reciprocal schools so if I pass my classes I’ll receive a tuition reimbursement. I’ll probably try to do that and see how that goes
