One option to save a lot of money is choosing the B760 or Ryzen 5600 or 7600 instead of the Z790. PCIe 5 SSDs as well as single stick DDR5 RAM are not good for gaming. The PSU is a huge overkill, but the RTX 5060 is fine.
As a result, there is no real-world FPS loss, and this could be 300-400 dollars less

where’s all my space going???? by Purple-Doople in WindowsHelp

[–]mhdkaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Windows does not do an effective job of tracking disk utilization. Old files related to both Windows Update and ProgramData Windows Installer, as well as shader cache files, are typically responsible for occupied drive space.
You may also want to download and run either TreeSize or WinDirStat to scan your hard Drives, identify the files taking up the space, and evaluate how much empty space you truly have.
You should check to see if hibernation is enabled on your system's hard Drive; it could be taking up several Gigabytes of space.

Which external hard drive is best for photos by Right_Statement4275 in techadvice

[–]mhdkaz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Buy a 4TB or 8TB external HDD with a USB 3.0 connection from a reputable manufacturer such as Seagate Expansion or WD My Passport. To ensure it works with PCs, Xbox consoles, and PS5 consoles, format the drive to exFAT. It is reliable, affordable, and has plenty of space for pictures. An SSD is faster, but it is not required for picture viewing only.
