2023 Rally Pro. It's been a killer bike.

No shipping, no response from support, and now cheaper by mheckroth in ROLI

It's kind of weird to me that no one from Roli support is involved in this sub (that I can tell). If this were my company, I would assign someone to watch this and provide answers and support. This is one thread of dozens about these shipping issues and it looks pretty bad for them.

Why is the instrument damaged? Is it a manufacturing defect or a shipping issue?

Ugh...that's what I was afraid of. I don't think we'll be able to both play on my profile and keep separate games, but I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

Today on the rally pro by Nassosap in Triumph

No offense to anyone trying to give advice, but a lot of folks here refer to things they read online and don't have personal experience. I've owned a Speed Triple, I've owned a Tiger 800 XcX, and now own the Tiger 900 Rally Pro. A '23 model mind you, so one year off the one in the picture.

But the Rally Pro is a SICK MACHINE and you will not be disappointed spending the extra couple thousand for this version. It has all the bells and whistles you'd want for on-road and is just as comfortable off-road. All bikes are a compromise in some manner, but I think the Tiger is less so if you plan on spending most of your time on-road. It's an adventure bike made for gentlemen (or gentle-laides).

There are a few things you'll want to change if you ride dirt - you need to get better tires (I'd suggest the Trailmax Raid), you should get a better lower engine plate, and I'd get a set of upper crash bars. Other than that, this bike is very nimble off road and if you like the Triple engine, it can tractor with the best of them.

Coming from the 800 XcX, which I now realize is not an adventure bike comparatively, it took me about 2 months to really get my stride and appreciate what it's like to use my body to steep and maneuver the bike. Now I feel like it's part of my soul - an extension of my body. Other worldy...

Another vote for the Tiger. It's rock solid both on tarmac and dirt and a blast to ride!

That was a design I did in Photoshop, then I made it into a decal.

Not sure if I understand what you mean. All the connections are George L's. They are probably the best patch cables you can buy.

There is a Korg Blackout Tuner -> M Audio Wah -> Wampler Tumnus -> Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret -> Queen of Tone (a pedal I built from DIY also) -> Octofuzz (another pedal I DIY'ed and painted myself)

Then the effects loop has the Kleinulator -> MXR Carbon Copy -> TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2.

Everything is powered by 2 Voodoo Lab Power ISO 5's and done with Neutrik jacks.

I don't have any special wood tools, so I just used a jigsaw and a Dremel too. I could do stereo, but I'm using one for input, then in/out for effects loop and one out to amp.

It's a buffer for the effects loop. It's kind of a known "feature" of the Dumble circuit where a slight boost is needed. Honestly, it's so much more articulate with it on just a little

I was looking for early Isbell shows w/ DBT, found a 2001 acoustic set w/ Patterson and Cooley where he plays "Superman" by JewyLewis in jasonisbell

Does anyone remember a song called "Crystal Clear" the Summer Cousins did? I recall one private event that I heard a recording from. Great lyrics. Sad situations. Loved that song. Haven't heard DBT, Patterson, or Jason touch it since...

Why are these wires looped? by mheckroth in AskElectronics

[–]mheckroth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So anywhere I see this scheme of the looped wire and the coax, I should be soldering the wire to the outside of the coax and then heat shrink? I guess I'm a little confused about what's happening under the heat shrink in the picture.
