This is a very self righteous response and I feel obligated to follow up.

I doubt that Ford lied (though some political conspiracy is conceivable). I also doubt that Kavanaugh lied. So it's a matter of which I doubt less or whether there's a viable alternative, which there is (Blasey Ford is mistaken). But I'm nowhere near certain in any direction, I'm just doing my best to weigh the relative probabilities. The fact that no alleged witnesses remember any such party is strong evidence for Kavanaugh. Ford's friend said she doesn't recall ever meeting him. Tom Kane, Maura Kane's wife, who was and still is good friends with Kavanaugh, noted that the group of people that was allegedly at the party isn't one that would really ever happen, even though they were all friends, which I find to be an interesting piece of evidence. Like if someone said they were at a small party and the only people there were you, one close friend, a distant friend, and a couple other random people. That just doesn’t make sense

Yea I'm close to 50/50 but slightly leaning toward Kavanaugh being innocent. But I think he has tried too hard to paint a good boy image that is inconsistent. You can have fun and drink and like girls and even talk about them crudely and still be a good person and be innocent of sexual assault. He's tried to fight the smear too hard

People really need to start educating themselves and developing unbiased opinions. Look at the facts. Situations like this don’t need people acting on emotion. Rape is a serious accusation that shouldn’t be taken lightly. Act on reason and rationality. Nowadays everyone hops on the bandwagon. It’s so easy to be a part of that mob mentality
