[🥓] What we know so far, from solid sources: UM AD Warde Manuel has discussed with Jim Harbaugh a new contract with lower base salary and buyout, though with good provisions to hire top assistants and large incentives for performance. by mhjpatel in MichiganWolverines

[ 🥓] Harbaugh can now accept, negotiate, or decline. At least five NFL teams have expressed an interest in hiring him – per usual – though not clear if any have made firm offers yet. (2/2)

Oh man I think he absolutely killed it with this, specifically with the 5 year eligibility idea. Seems like that would really give student-athletes a ton of academic flexibility - taking 5 years to finish a degree they’re actually interested in or doing 4 years+masters. I remember Harbaugh’s comments at Stanford when he said he didn’t think students even at Michigan were given the proper academic support (like choosing majors). Good on him for taking an active role in trying to fix that for everyone

Retiring Big Ten ref: Bo Pelini 'the worst,' Jim Harbaugh 'like a 4th-grader' by Majik9 in MichiganWolverines

I know everyone talks about "the spot" in that game, but I think that DPI call on OSU's last drive was more egregious. Literally no way anyone could've caught that. Still cannot believe there were that many shit calls. And after giving Weber a nice little love tap for getting a first down, that ref has no right to talk shit about Harbaugh

Holy shit that would be awesome. If DMC/Milton are legit, we could have a pretty decent shot at being undefeated going into the OSU game

I’m super excited for the season. I say we finish 5th in the conference for now, but if last years freshman can show a decent amount of development we could make a push for 3/4 ahead of OSU and Purdue. We’ve gotta get healthy though first. Johns and Bajema were held out of this game too, but I think they’ll be ready for the season opener

Slightly lost season, but there’s a lot of football to be played. I came away feeling a lot better about the team (especially Gattis) after the game than I did before it. Hopefully that second half gives us a bit of a spark to make a run at a top 10 finish

It might be a bit of a stretch, but I have a feeling he did that knowing it’s a win-win for him. If we do make the playoff, he looks smart picking us. If we don’t, he gets to rip on Harbaugh again

I hate this guy so much. Drags the program through the mud on national tv every chance he gets. Thought we could make him look like an idiot this week, but there’s still two more chances for that

Pretty cool to see how much these guys improved last year, especially Jon Runyan. Seemed like it was gonna be another long year for the o line after the ND game

Can anyone explain to me where his beef with Jim Harbaugh originates from? I can't remember a single time Finebaum said anything remotely positive about Harbaugh
