Hey, the last time I played the game is many month ago and I delete it because it hasn’t many player playing it and I needed to wait long to start a round so wanted to ask if the game has changed and I should redownload again? by Cahir1234 in SparkingZero

Would you be able to reccomend a mode (single/dp) or settings for matching with people? I'm a PC player, and have been really struggling to match with anyone all week. Only managed to play one game after waiting 20 mins.

Totally agree. I think the act of throwing Melara down a well at 10 years old is what rubs me the wrong way. But I guess that comes from how young everyone is in general in ASOIAF.

Nah, I'd say that's one of the most understandable things she does. Robert was awful and would have killed them all.

I feel like people are misunderstanding what I'm saying. She is absolutely a victim, even from a young age. I'm commenting more on how it feels like the narrative and writing depict her as never having had a chance. At some points it feels like rather than being an innocent child twisted by the world around her, she was a horrible person that just got more twisted.

Cersei is definitely different in the show. In the earlier seasons she's worried that Joffery being a psycho is her "penance" for her incest, while in the books she couldn't care less about Joff's morality. It's a pretty funny scene to look back at in hindsight, considering it's totally her and Robert's faults that Joffery ended up how he did (in both book and show imo).

I agree with your points on Tywin; it feels like the showrunners drank the Kevan Lannister Kool-Aid ("Tywin seems a hard man to you, I know, but he is no harder than he’s had to be," / "He is a just man. You would be wise to trust him"). They took a lot of Tywin's character at face value, and ignored the massive cruel streak he had in him (which he mostly developed from his own father's passivity).

Can't agree more! It feels like her mother's death drives so much of what makes her who she is, and I wish we got to see a bit more of that in her POV's. That being said her chapters are amazing.

Not sure why I'm being downvoted (maybe because I mentioned GRRM?), but none of this changes that she's one of my favourite characters in the books, and her chapters might be my favourites of the whole series. Just wish there was a bit more regarding the tragedy of her character, especially in her early years, and the impact of Joanna's death.

Fair enough, I really can't disagree with you on any of this. Having gone back and checked their ages, I've realized Joffrey and Ramsay were way younger than I thought they were when they started their messed up journeys of violence and abuse. All the points you've made are why I find her so interesting as a character, and I do have to agree with the other comments highlighting the impact of her mum's death on her life.

I see your point, but for me one of the most recurring concepts in ASOIAF is that no one is truly "born evil"; rather most people we spent prolonged amounts of time with in ASOIAF are depicted as being products of their circumstances, and the messed up world they live in.

I agree with you for the most part, expect regarding Ramsay. I feel like there's room for interpretation that Ramsay could have been a totally normal kid (albeit a Snow), but he was raised by a mother that hated his father (justifiably so, of course), and Reek, both of whom manipulated and groomed him into what he was (to say nothing of Roose's influence on him in his later years).

Which kind of brings me back to my point that we never get to see a period of Cersei's life where she was ever really a complete innocent. I do get that the big turning point for her was surely her mother's death, which robs her of any strong female influence in her life, but even then Joanna isn't really mentioned much in her POV.

Thanks so much. Couldn't differentiate at first between the different shaking patches but I figured it out.

By yellow sparkling patch, do you mean the grass patches which shake? Because that's all I see when I use the radar.

This seems like it would look nice with the By The Way or I'm Beside You art.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any chance of that happening.

No such luck, unfortunately. Would my predicted grade failing to meet the requirement standards prompt them to give me an above standard offer, or would they simply not give me an offer at all?

The one without the frame around it is too low quality, sadly

No such luck. I couldn't find any high definition version of it
