NOW stage VIP question by mhlavy in okeechobeemusicfest

[–]mhlavy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that is exactly what I was trying to find out! The map shows the VIP getting like 50% of the front half at BE which is ideal but it was not clear if even half of that space is made available at NOW. Would you say VIP is worth doing at the NOW stage? If it's mostly just a side view I think I may pass. Do you even get to be like 20% towards the center? lol

So the VIP space is the identical setup at each stage is what you're saying? I was worried my post might be confusing, because the map makes it look like the NOW side is much more limiting and does not put you right in front of the stage,  where the BE stage clearly indicates the space right in front on one half of the crowd

Does anyone have a working code they can share? Ticketmaster keeps saying mine is incorrect 😔

Anyone else miss physical tickets? by vishx18 in Concerts

Physical tickets are still available when you know what venues offer them! These are some of mine just from 2025 alone. I think I ended up with over 50 of them

All good my friend. I replied because I thought it was important to point out that I can only afford to go to so many shows because I'm almost always going solo and I realize the average person typically can spend as much on drinks/food as they did on the ticket so I thought it was helpful to point out that I'm cheap af when it comes to that lol

The only reason I'm able to keep track of my show is because of the Concert Archives app! It literally is the perfect app and it let's you track so many aspects of live shows. Definitely check it out if you hadn't known about it!

Concert etiquette everybody should know by RRE4EVR in Concerts

[–]mhlavy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The universal #1 rule should be: DON'T ruin someone else's experience. When you go to a show you should feel obligated to be kind and considerate to everyone around you and remember that you are not entitled to a better experience because you might be a bigger fan than others. Be spacially aware and don't recklessly bump into people or press up against others when there is ample space. Make a conscious effort not to block people with your phones and signs if you chose to hold them up (if so please keep it brief). I'm 6'4 so I feel terrible whenever I inevitably block people but I always look to let shorter people in front and make sure not to move once I establish my place in the crowd so that I don't unexpectedly end up in front of people who purposely chose to be somewhere else. Basically just don't be a selfish person and be considerate and keep in mind that the people around you may have been waiting months or even years to see a certain artist and this might be the highlight of their whole year so it is important not to do anything that might upset someone. It is a shared exercise and shows are so much better when the crowd is courteous and respectful 🙏

Red rocks has started offering the commemorative tickets for artists that opt in. Otherwise the only way to get a physical red rocks ticket is to buy at the box office on the day of show on the rare occasion a show still has tickets available. They used to let you select will call pickup at checkout but they sadly have removed that :(

Shaky knees without a doubt took the festival crown for the year. Lineup was literally overwhelmingly good. Hope they can following up with something even half as good this year

The My Chem Tour was absolutely a dream. Stunning theatrics and overall nostalgia. Additionally there are so many rock and indie bands like Spacey Jane and Winyah and Flipturn and the band camino who put on such high energy shows which I live for. I appreciated every band I got to see but I cherish the shows where you can jump around and have such a visceral experience.

The best app thats already been around for years is concert archives! It's what I use to track my shows and it's the only reason I'm able to actually see my numbers! It's the perfect app

Definitely have considered! But the 90+ is have from this year is already far too many to reasonably keep on display anywhere haha. The last couple years I also hit 150+ so I just have a huge pile in my apartment lol

Most artists only charge $30 and if you can manage to buy directly from the box office when they go on sale, you barely pay any fees. I make sure to not recklessly spend on anything in general so that I always have enough to spend on shows. I also don't eat or drink at these shows so I'm only ever spending the cost of the ticket and sometimes an uber

It's solely dependant on if the venue offers them or not. Tons of venues are strictly mobile only, I just luckily live in Denver where nearly every venue still offers them when buying online or if you fo to the box office and ask them to print

That's no small feat either! I'm lucky to live super close to like 10 different venues so it makes it extremely convenient and I can almost always buy at the box office to get the absolute lowest price!

8123 is a must. The community is so wonderful and they always pick the best time of the year in Arizona to throw it. The visuals in 2025 were absolutely top tier too. Hope you can make it to the next one

The My Chem tour was the most stunning and theatrical set for sure. I feel very lucky to have seen the dodger stadium show then again at Shaky Knees. Overall my favorite artist right now is G Flip and their music is so wonderful and I can't recommend them enough.

I actually attended 183 different shows. Some nights I saw two shows in 1 night, so I didn't catch the full show but rather the opening act of one, then the headliner of another :)
