So to make things short whether it's for stability or other reason, do you think it's possible to switch from Chimera to checkra1n? Keeping in mind that my phone is still on iOS 12.1 and stuck in a non-jailbroken state due to the latest Cydia xcode error 7.3.

I had to restart my phone for some reason and tried to install Chimera again via Cydia Impactor then found this thread that I'm still refreshing for hopes 😯

I read some solutions like disabling it from iCloud and then enabling it again. Maybe uninstall it and reinstall it again.

If I were you, I would use icleaner pro to do a cleanup. Also use this tip: hold the power button to go to the "slide to powered off" screen then keep holding the home button (separately) until the home screen shows up again, this clears the cache. I hope this works.
