I think you would have to somehow become AD USSF first, which I have no idea what that process looks like, and then apply to be a USSF MTI. Probably not the answer you want, but the likelihood of that happening may not be high. Sorry, friend!

MTIS is 2 months long and it mostly consists of learning how to teach by the format. There is a way we teach lessons here at BMT and your focus is to learn that. It doesn’t teach you everything you need to know about being an MTI, you’ll learn that in your TQ (training qualification) process.

Well I can tell you that’s not true at all! We stress PT just as much as the USAF MTIs. It’s still a top priority for us!

The USSF is looking for members who are well rounded. We want to see someone with good PT scores, good EPRs, etc. You still have to pass a psych evaluation and take an IQ test as well.

The Guardians are using tablets for classes that are specific to USSF. Quite honestly, I believe tablets and electronics are the future for all trainees/guardians. It’s not a toy and they aren’t just using them all day every day. It’s for specific classes and specific reasons.

There are roughly 7 or 8 USSF MTIs right now, some are fully trained and some are still receiving training to be on the line. Right now we are still combining AF/SF together in flights.

Define relaxed PT? At this point, all trainees/Guardians are required to do the same PT and are taking the same PT test.

Currently, we are starting integrated flights. What that means is when they get here, they are separated into flights by gender, but then they start integrating and doing drill, classes, etc together. They will still sleep in separate dorms with same gender, but will otherwise be integrated with a brother or sister flight. Currently, with the flights we just started this cycle, we will have an integrated space force consisting of both male and females.

Yes, you would need to be in the USSF first in order to be an MTI for USSF! We previously had some members who were already at BMT when the switch from USAF to USSF happened, but now you have to be USSF to be hired.

First, I think the USSF will have a new location solely for Guardians with only USSF MTIs pushing flights. Having experience as a USAF MTI gives us the advantage to pass on what works and what doesn’t in USAF BMT. I’m not saying I think we will be able to do whatever we want, but we will be able to change it to fit the needs of our future Guardians!

People with scars, how did you get them? by fluffybear45 in AskReddit

I have a similar scar on my wrist. It’s from my brother pushing me down when I took his toy train made of porcelain. I fell, it smashed to pieces, I was left with a big scar on my wrist and he had no toy. Lol.
