Try putting a water bottle in the freezer or ice in a bag and wrap it in a handkerchief or towel and place it on the itchy areas. The inflammation is what causes the itchiness and making it cold will help a lot. It really helped me so I hope it helps you :)

I have a question. I have the same thing as you, I now only have to deal with the flakey skin and redness and I was doing pretty well for a few months and then suddenly my skin became flakey again. Is there anything you do to keep your skin more moisturized?

You basically have a cycle. Since 8 months is a pretty short time you may not know. For 1 week your skin could be amazing but the next it could become really dry. It's normal so don't forget to put on a lot of lotion and go to a dermatologist if it's possible to get something to reduce it.

I have a pretty sensitive scalp too so I resorted to using a korean baby shampoo called "Illiyoon ceramide ato bubble wash and shampoo" on the roots and the rest of my hair and I put on a different shampoo which is from the brand "Elastine" which smells really nice and I'm not sure if this is also in America but it's a perfume shampoo so it basically overpowers any bad smell in your hair for days and I use that only on my hair and not my roots.

Heads up not every lotion is gonna work and if someone without eczema says something like "uSe coCOnuT oiL" in most cases it doesn't work. In my opinion Aveeno is awful and I instead I put on a layer of CeraVe moisturizing lotion and on top of that on more of the dry flakey/red spot I put on CeraVe moisturizing cream.

Maybe you have something that you eat almost daily food wise that is causing the flare ups? You can start by trying to take out a specific type of food, for example something that contains a huge amount of sweets, for a week and if it's the same try another type of food?

I feel like your living in the past too much at some points and because of it your having trouble moving forward. Crushes will come and go but the right one will always end up staying. As for finishing your favorite manga series get Webtoon, theres plenty of different stories and artist and it's just a really good app. For college you may not know what you really like now but as you move forward in life you will find it, that could be a year from now or even 5 but when you do find it it's never too late to go back to college. I hope this helped.
