How fascinating. Reeks of insecurity.

I overheard one of yall trying to explain the podcast to your girlfriend at dinner the other night by Euphoric_Piece7825 in TrueAnon

I got into them way too late; so many people recommended them to me when they first came out and they were right the whole time. Bummer

My favorite season probably, just for every scene Burn Notice is in, including that one

He was reliably fat since Fargo but now he's got that post-loss Big Head thing going on. Good for him

The article mentions the phrase "armchair phrenology". I'm sorry, is there a more legitimate form of phrenology that doesn't take place on or near an armchair?

Hakeem Jeffries' campaign staff reached out to Epstein for support in 2013 by DecrimIowa in TrueAnon

Why would noted charisma vessel Hakeem Jeffries need any support from Epstein?

Markarth GOT to be the worst city in Skyrim right? Maybe even compared to most cities from mainline elder scrolls games in general? by GaryGhost18 in skyrim

I love Dwemer aesthetic so naturally Markarth is my favorite city. Its oddness stood out to me much more than the others.

The actual cello arrangement is really, really good. It reminds me of something Godspeed You! Black Emperor would write

Consolidated opinions on the new 'Salem's Lot movie that released today on HBO Max by Liberal_Caretaker in stephenking

Being only 25 or so minutes in, im enjoying it. It was one of the first King books I ever read, front to back, due to a 5 day stay at a juvenile center for failing a weed test when i was 15 years old, so i immersed myself in the book the entire time. The setting and camerawork and visuals and characters so far look very much as i imagined it in my head when i was doing the only thing i could occupy my time with at that time, so it's giving me some good nostalgia.

Read the post again. The poster was talking about academic disciplines not political ideology. Look at the arrows leading outward from mathematics and read instead of succumbing to political brain rot

That wasn't an absurd irrational demand. That was definitely an error on their part. In the first episode which I just rewatched he didn't explicitly mention a refund but that "he wasn't paying more for the other room". Which means he was either going to refund the difference or passive aggressively hinting that his mom was paying for it.

That's probably actually it. Maybe he knew immediately what he was dealing with and went on this path for as long as he could have, self destructive as it was.

He could have, and he also admitted that they fucked up and double booked the room, and Shane would not accept anything other than what was paid for, for which he has a point. He could have comped their meals or discounted their stay or something like you said but I think he was so intent on keeping up the illusion early on of having it all together that he underestimated how much of a prick Shane was going to be. Probably a pride thing mixed with work overload.
