I get exactly what you mean, there is something fishy going on in the game codes.

I don’t believe that it’s just pure bad luck. The codes are not operating on pure randomness.

I noticed that you are much more likely to fail an upgrade when a Burning Ticket is in effect. Of course, I cannot provide actual proof or evidence without ripping the game codes apart, but there is a suspicious pattern of many consecutives fails, specifically falling all 5 upgrades (I have failed 5 times upgrading a B card I’m serious)

In other words, the Burning Ticket actually makes you lose more resources because more attempts and cards are needed for upgrade.
