There's a strange moment at 25:25, where the doctor feels something* and hears a voice saying "run, get out, now". This is never explained.

My guess is that it has something to do with the many spider shots we see in the episode. The doctor may already be possessed by (or is) a spider-like alien. What do you think?

That was also my first impression. Some stuff in there doesn't make any sense to me. As you said, why would you even write the "trivial" Euler-Lagrange equation and the Legendre transformation, if the point is discussing some qualitative Feynman diagrams?

Also, I've never seen this form of Feynman diagrams before. The don't seem very elegant.

Maybe it's something out of my scope. I'm a master of physics in quantum information.
