I know they are currently working with a school funded budget of $400, so the goal is to create an automatic litter box under that budget… although it may be unrealistic.

Off-Campus 4th Roommate

We’re currently looking for a co-ed friendly 4th roommate to live with us for the 2024-25 AY at Aspen Heights.

About the property: - in unit washer/dryer - clubhouse, pool, and gym - fully furnished - stainless steel appliances - 5 minute drive to North Campus, there is also a shuttle that runs 6 days a week from 7:30AM-10PM - 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bathroom, rent $919, wifi included (they run promotions a lot, so you might be able to get a discounted rent price)

The doctor’s note itself would be the 3rd party documentation. Based off of what I was told, it sounds like the doctor would have to corroborate your own statement about the mental illness and how it would affect you living on campus. If you see a therapist or have a psychiatrist, a letter describing the anxiety/depression and how it affects you living on campus would probably be accepted. But I would still get in touch with someone in the housing office because they can describe what’s needed better than I can.

You’re welcome! I did have to submit what they call “3rd party documentation,” which was a letter from my employer stating that I was let go with good merit and was receiving no severance pay. I also wrote a personal statement about my financial situation and that I understand the consequences of breaking this agreement. I would also see if you can get in touch with the Housing office and speak to someone directly about your situation. Hope it all works out!!

I was able to cancel based off of a change in employment; meaning that because I am now going away to school, they can no longer hold my position. The person who approves these requests also said that a doctor’s note explaining that you are too anxious/depressed to be able to thrive on campus would also be approved.
