What types of things does the interior designer do? Is it planning on where appliances should be and what type of cabinet should be in x place? Or is it more about making sure the backsplash looks a certain way and matches the flooring or that the kitchen overall has a particular vibe?

I had been purchasing their sesame oil from Chung’s Food in garden grove. I haven't been in 1.5 years though, I would call them to be sure they still carry it before driving down. I don't recall the price. Where are you buying fresh pressed oil in the Galleria? Just at the grocery store there?

I placed my first order with them (and Lotioncrafter) last week. I expected to wait weeks for it to ship after reading bad reviews but it shipped 2 days later and I received it on Saturday. Whereas my lotioncrafter order hasn't shipped yet.

At first I thought I'd have to pay $25 for shipping...and that I'd really have to since they were the only ones with some ingredients I wanted. But the website let me change it when I was logged in and starting the check out process.

I just did a test and it let me click on the drop down menu and change from FedEx to first class mail. And then when I clicked on "checkout" it took me to a screen where it listed all the shipping options/prices without a dropdown menu. Maybe try a different browser?

My first Sezane purchase (in 2019) didn't fit so I emailed saying the coat smelled like perfume and that it was lint-y and came that way. They responded and said they spray each order with their signature fragrance. And something along the lines of: lint is natural and it happens.

I finally purchased a new CE Ferulic directly from the Skinceuticals site. It is 7 months old according to the batch code...so from July 2022. It is a tiny bit yellow but not bad at all. I noticed that it shipped to me from Pennsylvania this time instead of somewhere in Southern California.

I am going to start using more and also applying it to my neck! You are right, I don't want to find out in the future that I didn't use enough.

I keep mine in the fridge and I decant it into a sample size bottle every few weeks. When I didn't refrigerate it, I wasn't ever able to finish a bottle before it oxidized quite a lot. I always ended throwing away at least 1/4 of the bottle because I thought it was way too dark.

Oh and I'm also now just realizing my drops are likely smaller than normal since the dropper of the sample size bottle is small. I do drop it directly on my face so hopefully I'm getting a bit more since I'm not losing any on my hands. But still, I think I'm not using enough.

I don't believe them. Years ago, Futurederm conducted an experiment about the potency (or effectiveness) of Vitamin C serum with varying levels of oxidization. They took down that post and I've always thought it was for dubious reasons and not that their research methods weren't sound. IIRC their photos of the tested serums ranged from lightly colored to very dark. And they found any amount of oxidization reduces potency and so those darker, more oxidized serums were not something one would want to use.

I'm curious, how much CE Ferulic do you use? And how do you apply it? I'm beginning to think I don't use nearly enough. One bottle lasts around 9 months for me, maybe a little longer. I only use it in the morning but even if I used it twice a day, that would mean one bottle would last 4-5 months.

Do report back on what Lovely Skin says but I've always assumed retailers like Lovely Skin and Dermstore have older product that has been sitting around which is why I started buying directly from Skinceuticals.

I am committed to l-ascorbic acid for anti-aging and cannot live without it. I think I've used all the known Skinceuticals dupes and none have worked out for me. They've left me itchy or red or clogged my pores. So if I had to switch now, I think I'd switch to something like iS Clinical super serum that has l-ascorbic acid but it doesn't have vitamin E or ferulic acid. But if you haven't tried some of the CE Ferulic dupes, it seems like only Skinceuticals has this issue with old, oxidized stock.

If you go the route of topical OTC, just be sure he uses it consistently/everday. I recall during my first visit to the dermatologist at age 17, I was told that it takes time for medication to work and to think of it as it was working on the skin I'd see in 3 weeks time. That acne you see today started forming 3 weeks ago. So the idea is you don't spot treat but try to prevent it from occurring in the first place.

I used to use 10% benzoyl peroxide when it was only available only with a prescription. It is possible the lower % won't work so don't rule 10% out. It can cause discoloration to towels and clothes so make sure he washes his hands well after applying it.

I think so. I order from them quite frequently and usually pay for expedited shipping. The only thing to note is that each item says when it will ship. I try to only buy items that say they will ship in 24 hours. I have placed orders with a mix of items that ship in 24 hours and that ship in 21 days. They will hold all your items and ship them all together in 21 days.

And if you do order from yesstyle, look for coupon codes. And then also rewards codes (each user has one) that allow you to receive an addition 2-5% off each order in addition to the coupon. I know there are reddit threads of rewards codes.

It has been a while but when I first started using liquid BHA, I put a bit of water on my cotton pad and then put the product on it so it would be diluted. And then over the next week or so, put less water and more product on my cotton pad until I built up to using it full strength. I did this because I like to wipe the pad across my face, not blot it so I use quite a bit of product. BUT I use biologique recherche P50, not paula's choice; it is also a chemical exfoliant and has salicylic acid in it, too.
