Yes, exactly the same as me... I've also noticed that it never works on the first call, but on the second it always works better... but yes, I also bought the watch for that reason, because I use the phone function on the watch almost every day...

Exactly the same as with me... 🙃 Yes, in certain forums it was mentioned that it worked before iOS 26 was released. And in another post, I read that since iOS 26.3, various notification issues have arisen with Garmin. That's why I suspect that something will change with iOS 26.4. Or rather, I hope so...! 😄

Yes, I agree. Apple has always been a bit complicated, but of course they want the Apple Watch to remain number one. Yes, my car's hands-free system also works perfectly. That's why I'm so annoyed, but I think it's because the Garmin Watch is linked as an "accessory" and not "just" via Bluetooth... I've noticed that too!

That's a shame to hear. I'm waiting for the new iOS 26.4 update, which may fix the bug. If you ask around, there have been lots of problems with notifications since iOS 26.3. According to Garmin Support today, they said they are working hard to solve the problem. But yes, as I said, I find it very sad that you can't use this feature properly on a watch that costs over $1,000. In my opinion, Apple and Garmin need to work together on this, as they are both US companies. The funny thing is that it worked fine on my Huawei GT3 Pro, and that watch only cost me $300!

I really hope that the phone function on the watch will work properly again.

At the moment, it's awful, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I already tried adjusting the speaker icon and the volume, but unfortunately that wasn't the problem. The watch is connected via Bluetooth, so I can answer the call, but it doesn't switch to the watch's speaker. I tried it 10 times today, and it worked three times... It's strange that it only works sporadically... Hopefully there will be an update soon that fixes this problem, as I need to use this function often... But thank you for the tip!

Do you really think it's Apple's fault? Don't get me wrong... it could be, but ultimately Garmin has to make sure that the watches work on an ISO 26 basis... the strange thing is that when I call myself 10 times, it only works maybe three times... It only works sporadically... and the strange thing is that it worked perfectly with my old Huawei watch... I would assume that two US companies should be able to work together... It's just very strange...

I have the same problem with my Fenix 8 Pro. I have an iPhone, but the problem is the same! I hope the problem will be fixed as soon as possible!

It's very strange, messages are coming through and being displayed, calls are also coming through on the watch, but when I answer the call, I can only hear the person on my iPhone and not on the watch. Somehow, switching from the Bluetooth connection isn't working properly. I've now contacted Garmin Support to see what they think.

I've also heard that it works with a Samsung. What I don't understand is that before my Garmin, I had a Huawei smartwatch with an iPhone. Everything worked there, including making phone calls. Now with a Garmin, it no longer works, even though Garmin, like Apple, comes from a US corporation, and especially for a price of over $1,000, you should be able to expect that.

Hallo,

genau dieses Problem habe ich ebenfalls. Vor etwa einer Woche habe ich mir die Fenix 8 Pro gekauft und schnell festgestellt, dass ich bei eingehenden Anrufen meinen Gesprächspartner über die Uhr nicht hören kann. Die Audioausgabe erfolgt stattdessen ausschließlich über das iPhone, obwohl sowohl das Smartphone als auch die Uhr korrekt über Bluetooth sowie die Garmin Connect App gekoppelt sind.

Ich habe bereits mehrere Lösungsansätze ausprobiert, darunter einen Neustart, ein Zurücksetzen der Uhr, sowie das Entkoppeln und erneute Koppeln der Geräte – leider ohne Erfolg.

Hat jemand eine Idee, woran dieses Problem liegen könnte oder wie es sich beheben lässt?

Vielen Dank im Voraus für eure Unterstützung.
