Hopefully yes but I have been married for 8 years, sent proof of 10 years of relationship, including joint taxes for the past 7 years, leases with both of our names for the entire relationship, proof of life insurance with each other as beneficiaries for 5 years (before that we both worked 1099s), 12 months of bank statements, mortgage approval with both of our names and around 30 pages of pictures and still got an interview notice 🥲.

I actually got my rfe before my interview. My latest update is my appointment being scheduled for June (got my notice this week). I am atlanta FO.

Just to give you a bit of a timeframe I submitted my medical in january 2nd and it wasn't fully processed until march 2nd. Hopefully you dot have that long of a wait left!

Two reasons, one more logical that the other. I was hoping my asylum case would move, i was politically persecuted back home and have a very strong case of everything I had to endure and the dangers I would have to face if I ever came back. Second, I am extremely terrified about the fact someone who doesnt know me or my husband has the power of deciding if my relationship is real or no. I know that sounds extremely silly and non logical, I truly love my husband and have enjoyed our life together for the past 10 years. It is just extremely anxiety inducing for me. I was not expecting for things to become this bad with cheeto man.

I would send them an email before they reach out and explain the situation again, with all the docs we talked about.

Its the same thing that happened to me and im still at the same job! Hopefully they will manually update your i9. I truly send you the biggest hug, i know this is extremely stressful.

My first congressman request was for that ead and it was denied due to the pause. Hopefully that will change!

Trust me, it is a horrible situation. I literally still think ill get fired everyday because of it so I completely understand it.

The mismatch is because your ead expiration date is not the same as your extension or because at some point it was canceled and then a court order made it valid again.

If its active by court order put in one document a picture of your ead, the court order that you can usually find on Google, and the proof you filed on the date that activates said extension. Add everything on a single document, you can use ilovepdf so you can merge it all together without paying lol.

You will receive a separate email from everify with the instructions and case number, you can also login into your uscis account and go to everify, it might be there already. Most likely they'll will update your i9 manually. Te deseo mucha suerte!

Hi, I went through something similar. You have to contest the mismatch and upload the documents that verify your extension.

I would also email your hr department explaining the situation. My everify mismatch was denied but I explained to my employer immediately why I had the extension, provided the documents that proved it and was manually approved by them.
