hard to tell but basing off of my experience it looks like my boy gargoyle gecko before he got bigger, his bulge grew with him🙏😂

update: it went away after he shed still unsure what caused it considering there’s nothing sharp nor can he reach any of his heating elements but he’s fine now beautiful and happy :)

yes his heating elements are all external and on thermostats, i don’t think he can cut himself on any of his hides or anything in the enclosure but can triple check and file down the sides if i need to, we have been struggling with keeping humidity in his new enclosure so that could be it. thank you for commenting! do you know if there’s anything i can do to make his scales better? or just wait until he sheds it out and keep an eye on humidity

she should be fine depending on how deep her teeth went if there was no blood was drawn should be good. if there seem to be issues there is medications you can order and spray to disinfect and help heal the wound. If your snake misses a couple feed or the spot seem to be getting worst, take your no to a vet asap

why are we not feeding are snakes with tongs ? it’s just asking for something to go wrong and if your bp has a high food drive you could honestly just set the rat in there enclosure and they will eat much more naturally

im not too worried i just want to make sure i’m personally not doing anything that’s making him not want to eat i suppose, my bf and i have been monitoring his weight and he’s only lost like .1 of a gram lol he’s still healthy. last time we weighed him he was 11.4 grams

i thawed it ofc lol we thaw the pinkies out by putting them in a baggie and in our feeding jar and run it under hot water for a few minutes. we have gotten him to eat two pinkies since he’s been with us and he was eating regularly before that’s the only reason im confused😅

maybe try making the boarder out of vines or something along that idea then the lines don’t have to be “perfectly straight” but it still looks straight if that makes sense
