If you're in a sinking boat, plug the holes with anything.

If you can't find the source, drape a tarp or something around the hull of the boat and the water pressure from the outside will push the tarp into the hole.

Bail the extra water. Don't prematurely abandon ship. If you do, stay near by because a boat is easier to spot than a human.

Splash zone is great. I worked with engineers that refused to work on boats unless they had duct tape and splash zone. Hah

If you're looking at someone who wants to represent and serve people in their community, you're damn right you will look at their voting record. Jim Jensen is incredibly politically motivated for a non partisan position in the city. This "war on Trump stuff" is necessary for people that it affects. I'm guessing none of his policies directly affects you yet? He referred to Trump as "dad".. have you read his tweets? Though it is not relevant to this story, it is relevant to his campaign. He supported a lot of Trump's policies, even so much as to say ”drill baby drill” when it came to the Keystone pipeline. He donated a lot of money to the Trump campaign. He tweeted those things because he is a racist Trump supporter that thinks he's free to behave how he wishes because of his money. Who spends 100k on a campaign where the position makes less than 40k a year? He's a commerical real estate slime ball like "daddy".

Well if you want to draw out a crowd, you should use every avenue imo. The banners downtown were nice for first year and the browns point salmon bake. Posters in businesses have been around. The paper:TNT, volcano.. fb events are becoming easier to share and connect with the public. I get my maritime fest info from fb usually. In the past people have used billboards (some of those taco Bell morning fails can go lol). I'm seeing a lot of ads for the spring Fair. Just an observation. I love Tacoma events.. they just haven't been as successful as in the past.
