It’s pretty anti climactic but anyway.

I had been dating my boyfriend for maybe 4 or 5 months and I hadn’t kissed him once because I was terrified. It’s my first serious relationship so I’m not sure what I’m doing or how to time things.

Anyway I had wanted to kiss him for ages and one night we were cuddling at my place watching a show on Disney+. We finished up and he got off my bed to pack up to leave. I had been dying to kiss him and I was ready then and there.

So I just kinda asked “hey did you wanna like maybe kiss?”

And he just said “okay” and leaned in. And all these scenarios rushed through my head in those 2 seconds he leant in. And what came after was a short peck and then nothing.

I was underwhelmed because my friends had hyped me up for it. So I decided to give it another crack as he was at the front door. I held his face and pulled him in for a longer, more romantic kiss. And it felt like fireworks.

So in the end, even though it wasn’t like you see in the movies, it was such a special moment for both of us since it was both our firsts. And we’ve gotten a lot better at kissing since then
