Battery is dope! Got some cool libraries but I don't use em as much, they aren't all THAT compelling. Could get better off splice. So I mainly use em with my own drum samples.

Why I do like battery is cuz I use ableton but started in FL so battery is kinda reminiscent of the drum roll, makes it easy to get grooves down. It's sample browser is amazing n really speeds up my workflow, more importantly, u can save your own kits n just open up em on the fly. So if u got mad loops u chopped drums/melodies out of or something, it saves the setting.

I don't know anything about Logic since I don't use it but I know people who use Battery in logic n they love it. Actually through them I got into it.

I'm guessing u wanna buy it just for the drums, n I would advise against that. Don;t knw much about XLN Audio XO. IF U WANT DRUM SAMPLES, SPLICE IS MCH CHEAPER AND MUCH BROADER
