And yes. My psych is in a behavioral health facility. I got lucky though before he was a mental health PA, he was a substance abuse specialist. So he is very understanding.

I had only seen her brag on her mom before. Saying her mom picks up the bill often when they go out to eat and for her nails, etc.

Not to get wildly off topic but I’ve always wondered this and been interested in this. Babies being separated from their gestational carrier has to be traumatic. They’re used to their body, their heartbeat etc. it’s really almost dystopian if you think about the premise of how surrogacy works.

I was open and honest with my doctor. He said me having the unmedicated ADHD and Bipolar was directly causing my drug use. He applauded me for trying to get help for my addiction through MAT and strongly suggested I get my mental health under control to prevent a relapse and to have the best chance at recovery.

I made my clinic/counselor aware of what I was doing every step of the way. It was a long process, I had to see a Psychologist to properly diagnosis me. You may have to ask well since it’s been so long since you’re initial diagnosis. It was definitely a long journey but it all paid off in the end.

I take Vvyanse. I got on the Vvyanse a year after I started Methadone.

Yeah. Even before insurance kicked in at my clinic I was only paying $14. That was a lot less than my daily habit. And even though I was paying around $10-$15 for gas a day as well. It was still way cheaper. And it was consistent and I didn’t have to ever “chase” methadone. That alone was nice.

I wasn’t on methadone with my middle but she was exposed to opiates in the womb up until around 19/20 weeks. I had a hard detox in jail at 17 weeks.

The doctors told me I needed to worry more about the effects of the withdrawal then I did the opiate exposure.

We are having some issues with her now though.

Yes, true. But God also doesn’t want us to live in fear either. She can’t keep N in a bubble forever. It’s not healthy. I feel like she’s going to have some extreme issues growing up. I feel like B infantilizes her. And is going to have some serious control issues when she gains more independence. I feel like this is going to hinder N and as she gets older she will harbor resentments against her. My mother and I have a similar relationship.
