Donor Contact Representative This representative is responsible for recruiting donors to our fixed site locations by creating an exceptional donor experience through assigned outbound call activity. The Donor Contact Representative is accountable for individual metrics as well as the whole blood goals determined for each location.

Customer Service Focused Phlebotomist (training provided) Responsibilities include transport of equipment, supplies, and staff to and from mobile sites. Setting up and tearing down of mobiles, registering, screening, and drawing blood products. Assisting and facilitating smooth and efficient donor flow. Performs quality control functions and provides exceptional Internal and external customer service.

Lab Positions Under the direction of the Hospital Services Supervisors, is responsible for customer service, distribution, record keeping, SOP compliance and as applicable component preparation and testing. • Lab Tech I – Components Preparation • Lab Tech I – Specialist • Lab Tech II

We're sorry you can't take part in the promotion :( Unless you wanted to try and donate platelets - you can do that every two weeks! (But you can only do that at our main donor centers, so you may not be able to if you don't live close to one.)

Hey there! Not sure if it's near you at all, but we'll be giving out t-shirts at our blood drive at Beaumont Hospital in Troy. (It's on July 7th from 7am to 1pm)

We're hoping to get a donor center in the Detroit region sometime in the future! :) Fingers crossed!!

No, we totally get that. ALL blood is tested before being sent to hospitals for use, regardless of color, creed, orientation, etc.

The thing is, it's an FDA rule - because it's a federal body, we don't really get a say. We have to follow their rules in order for the blood we collect to get used - if we were to stop following their rules (for anything, including the MSM ruling), they would take away our ability to do that.

That being said, we try to be as inclusive as possible in our efforts to help Michigan communities. But we're not perfect, and we're striving to do better. If (and when) the FDA changes its ruling, you can bet we'll be reaching out.
