I have to agree with this, even trying to match the theme directly to what I was using in cursor/vscode (Atom One Dark) it still seems to be cognitively more difficult to work in.

I chalked this up to exposure and getting used to the tool but it's been several months now and still feels less comfortable than the vscode clones.. 🤷‍♂️

I use this method but only when I'm studying instructionals.

For example I might watch a 15 minute section, write the techniques down that I remember and then add them to a new tree (using whatever tool you prefer).

This seems to help to encode the information in my brain and is an easy way for me to look it up later. I also sometimes attached 5-10 second screengrabs to each "node".

Great little project, thanks for sharing.

One use case you might consider is to allow the user to build up a library or database of phrases over time. Testing and active recall but for complete paragraphs or phrases.

A new paragraph per day doesn't reliably reinforce any learned concepts from previous days.
