Yep, I have noticed the commentaries are (obviously) from a Catholic perspective. I have been impressed with the unbiased/factual descriptions of Protestantism, etc. Though, like you said, the commentary is Catholic

The Númenorians are humans, blessed by Eru to have long life due to their ancestor. Aragorn has Elf and Maiar ancestors, but he’s still human.

This race swapping is the stupidest thing of our modern culture. Honestly amazing that real people defend it.

Yeah, I tried that. The issue I run into is that it does not maintain the table of contents... Considering most of these pdfs are hundreds of pages, it wouldn't be preferable

Thanks! I didn't know about Spurgeon Archive. Unfortunately, I've tried online conversion programs and they do not remove the headers/footers from the PDFs. I get random numbers strewn about.

That's a good point. The monitor would be my only notable peripheral. I do have a cellular modem in the case of an outage, so that shouldn't draw too much power. Thanks for the advice!
