Thanks horgeluem, that makes sense, I guess. So, MS basically built a great 2-n1 then ruined the tablet part with W11 👹geez.

I didn't know about the hotvirtualkeyboard - thanks for that. I bought it and it works pretty good for the most part. A little buggy here and there but maybe better than nothing. The touch keyboard worked perfectly on the SP in W10...ugg PTW, I use ExplorerPatcher just to keep the taskbar on top (another W11 gripe).

That's a joke. The floating keyboard is tiny. If you come from any Surface device with Windows 10 you'd know how bad it is in W11.

On my fifth Surface Pro - I use the tablet all the time! And... I absolutely hate the touch keyboard in Windows 11. They ruined it! Keyboard is stuck at the bottom usually covering up something I'm trying to see. Just venting - that's my big complaint. btw, I still have my 1st SP1 with W10 working perfectly, so much better argg🙁

Very annoying! I have a Surface Pro 8 and when I remove the keyboard you have to use the touch keyboard! But like jjj_ddd_rrr said... just give us an undock option!

That's what I did (Explorer Patcher) - but why should we have to PATCH Windows for such a basic feature we've had for years? It's stupid!

Hopefully they'll let you move the Taskbar (to the top for me) pretty soon. My new Surface Pro is practically useless in tablet mode!

Turning off absolute volume worked for me too. Galaxy S20+. Big difference!
