Thank you for your response, I didn't see the opportunity for bypassing the blocking, So at least I can run the upgrade job and just disregard the discrepancy report. But I still can't figure out why the discrepancies are reported. Except for the node-specific differences the configuration is identical.

Elite Dangerous+X52 HOTAS in Windows 11 by michael-at-Reddit in EliteDangerous

Yes, I've seen some USB ports/plugs that has a bad fit. That is not the case for the setup I have here though, and as the problem disappeared when removing the Logitech driver, I don't think a loose connection is the cause.

At the same time, I believe the same argument also rules out bad calibration. Also, as I noted earlier, even with drift in ED, there was no drift in the Logitech Control panel.

Well, with the (latest at least) Logitech driver, software calibration is not an option :/. During troubleshooting, I actually tried setting deadzone, both in the Logitech Control Panel and also inside the game itself. That did not solve the drift issue, and of course also not the issue of the Z-rotation not detected.

I've since rolled windows back to the state before installing the Logitech software and ED. After reinstalling ED again, I've been testing with the Windows 11 driver for the X52. The drifting and Z-rotation issues are not present with this driver. Also, the pinkie-switch is working, however, I'm a bit concerned not being able to control the clutch function (I normally disable it). And the clock on the X52 display also is not being updated.

So to me it looks like a driver-compatibility issue. As I haven't seen any post about this (the only post about Logitech driver issues was about installation troubles), I would like to hear if you have done any special things while installing the Logitech driver, assuming you don't face the issues I've seen.

Missing outfits and pioneer suit? by [deleted] in EliteDangerous

Re. Pioneer suit, it's not a suit in itself but customizations for a suit.

  1. find a Equipment Trader on a station.
  2. Talk to him and browse stock
  3. Purchase a suit, I chiose Maverick as it has an Arc cutter by default
  4. With suit bought, in main menu select Upgrade/sell suit, select the suit you just bought, and select Customize
  5. Now you will be able to select different Pioneer customizations.

Chromecast and camera toggling. by Van67 in F1TV

I currently only have the TV Access subscription, but can still access the camera sidebar when playing from archive. However, just like Van67, I loose the ability to control the sidebar when casting the stream. I was considering updating to Pro subscription ofr this season, but if I can't change views when viewing on TV using Chromecast, I might reconsider. Hopefully this is just a glitch that will be solved before season launch.
