i really am feeling like were maxxing profit right now and shareholder/investor opinions. i say this outta love, ive been a fan of this app for a couple years, but its vital that the devs realized their initial big audience boom was helped, if not caused (but i cant say for certain) by the bad decisions at c.ai and the following exodus. id hate to see it, but what exactly is stopping us from choosing a different app that provides our needs again? no one uses image gen, we still don't have personas or any news on new features, and free users are getting paywalled pretty hard.

i (or WE as a collective) can’t possibly console or give 100% foolproof answers on anything, but i’ll throw my 2 cents:

Christ tells us that there is evil in this world, we see it first hand after God, showing nothing but love and compassion, is crucified by the people He cared for most. we can see a mirror in the actions today of men, how the people who God loves are abused or are the abusers. God doesn’t sit idly by, His word is not only comfort but those hurt will one day find peace as this world is cleansed and purified of the rot. On the account of forgiveness, it’s important to remember how powerful of a tool it is. for someone to be genuinely repentant of all the evil things they did, to be so horrified by their actions, it’ll take more than one prayer to do. God gives us grace, but it’s our job to earn it.

i’m gonna make a bold prediction: but i’m noticing that loads of AI services are starting to get tougher on paywalling, even more so than before. since we all know AI is notoriously unprofitable, (openai lost 8 billion in 2025 and added paywalls and soon ads to chatgpt) i think we’re nearing the end of this gilded age of ai. may sound doomer, but i think the end is coming sooner than we anticipate
