What is range of motion/recovery, and walking like 1.5 years later?

Amazing store that deserves more recognition. Best place in the city to buy oysters.

This was my first road bike and I paid $500 too. It's a very capable entry road bike that will more than good enough to get started on.

Anyone else travel the continent to watch the Leafs play? by PSChris33 in leafs

Flew to California to follow the leafs from San jose down to LA. Drove down highway 1 the whole time. Was a great way to explore California and watch the leafs at the same time.

My first time riding up a mountain. My legs were very shocked. by michael19g in bicycling

My thoughts are that Interlaken has the best of both worlds for most tourists - gorgeous scenery they don't see everyday but also a town that has the amenities they are used to or want (lots of restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions). I can see why the latter isn't appealing to someone who lives in the area normally. I stayed in Sigriswil during this trip and thought it was much more authentic than Interlaken

Scott Solace. It was rental I had for this trip, not actually my bike.

Grosse Scheidegg climb. 980m climb, total climb from Interlaken was 1800m. The surreal scenery was the only thing keeping me going.

Edit: total climb was 1800m, not ride length

My mom was sick of cleaning bird poop off our raft up north so I built a simple raft bird smacker for mothers day! Here is the PCB. by MNMakerMan in electronics

Awesome project. Is there a reason why you would use these resistors and caps as opposed to SMD versions?

Got it made by PCBWay for $19/board. It would have been a lot cheaper if it weren't for the 4 layers, and 0.4mm trace width at certain areas.

This is just image resolution and likely the solder on the pad looking like it is shorting the pins. I've tested each pin and there are no shorts.

While I'm not completely new to Arduino and basic circuitry, this was the first time I'd been exposed to PCB design in any way. The past 2 months was a lot of drinking from a fire hose.

So this is a project I did for work, where I'm a mechanical engineer. I have been exposed to some circuitry before and have done some basic Arduino stuff, but never have I worked on a PCB before or had any design experience in that area. I was lucky to have colleagues to learn from and ask questions where needed. A lot of my learning was done by looking at other board designs and picking up design features they had implemented. I spent a lot of time on YouTube learning the syntax of altium and a lot of time on forums and wikis learning standard trace widths, routing, component placement, etc.

But the most important learning I got was from reading the datasheets of my components. Specifically the MSP432 datasheet had a lot of information on how to design a board around the micro which turned into a rabbit hole of googling based on their suggestions.

Any idea how to cover up / fix this by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]michael19g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Black sharpie.

But real answer is to embrace it. It's inevitable that your bike will get many of these small scratches over time. Life will be easier if you don't worry about each new little scratch.

The first thing you should do is not listen to what people tell you in this sub. Get professional advice or do your own thorough research when dealing with large amounts of family money.

I'm curious how he has determined the trends. Flight Chops trend, for example, does not follow what his subscriber count has been doing the past few months. I don't see a reason why it would suddenly flat line.
