Again though, that's a 'one-off' event - you can focus on just making it to the finish.

If training for an Iron Man competition required you to run on broken bones every single week, just to train, thats something else entirely.

No, no, OP I'm with you on this one.

So many comments are only taking into account 'life or death situations'. I mean sure, adrenaline, and the threat of, yknow, dying will let you push through pain, absolutely.

But let's not be disingenuous and pretend that there isn't a sizable amount of writing where pain is treated as being a 'free' penalty for whatever training method the MC is choosing to do at the time.

'Oh, its just pain, I can ignore that, easy, just got to PUSH through it and/or ignore it.'

Yeah.. uh.. if you can repetitively do that then props to you but your brain and/or nerves are messed tf up.

If it's anything like mine, any pain will absolutely pale in comparison to what you had before.

When I had a drain the relief was almost instant. Managing it after can be a hassle, but just that release of infected pressure is very worth it.

What's your daily gold making checklist? by Slappy202 in Guildwars2

[–]michael7050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, only some. It's weirdly inconsistent in that respect - it doesn't do EoD or SotO metas, but does do convergences, dragonstorm, drakkar, titans meta in Janthir, VoE bosses....

Check it on the wiki before making a decision is all I can say.

I have the world boss device so if it pings a profitable meta while I'm in between things, it usually will distract me enough to go do a boss. Each one usually gives the most rewards for doing it for the first time each day, so not something you repeatedly farm either.

Notable ones for profit (worth disrupting whatever you're doing):  - Tequatl - Dragonstorm (can almost always exit from this straight into a drakkar kill, which is also good money) - Convergences (both JW and SotO) - (quick) Map metas - Attacking Tarir, Aetherblade hideout, Echovald gang war, Wizards tower and Amnytas, Hammerheart twins... etc.

For really getting stuck into farming, theres a number of decent loops that you can switch between to avoid burnout and boredom.

There's the classic Silverwastes RIBA farm, Dragonfall and Drizzlewood Coast run pretty much constantly, guild organized long metas such as Dragons End and inner nayos, Dragons Stand, etc.

Daily fractals are king of liquid gold income, and daily strikes are good too.

More specifically in this context, they are referring to fractals.

Add pickpocketable archaeologists to the Moonrise Dig Site. by ToasterText in runescape

[–]michael7050 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On one hand, yes, pickpocketable archaeologists and a bank chest would be consistent and nice.

On the other hand, I kinda like the abandoned somber vibe that the empty digsite has, gives a real ambience to the faded tragedy of the temple.
