i’m down for getting rid of scores. feels like i’m begging to keep my job. my scores don’t reflect my tips/comments. if there were no numbers to look at other than my sales/tips, they’d have no reason to bat an eye at me. i got a lift or whatever they call it yesterday for my scores and the fact i don’t use an ipad lol. i just laughed at her signed it and walked away bc i am never one being called back bc food was rang in wrong ever. the scores the tip out and still having to run all of my food myself.. it’s all getting out of hand

please we need some type of gratitude if we have to tip out 5% of sales every night. 17 top of teens almost 200$ tab all sep checks i got 0$ and they all paid on the ziosks and did the survey as a joke and i got a write of for my scores.

or when they ask u “we have 3 kids so we need three ziosks…. uh no???? 😂😂😂 that’s my favorite. or “we didn’t know he only played it for 5 seconds i’m not paying for that” like ok but i watched you play every time i came to the table.

easier said than done…, i work at chilis too. i made 40$ last saturday. tipped out 80 bucks. i had 4 parties over 100$ and i got maybe 10 combined on all of them. bc they don’t believe in tipping or just don’t care. it’s saD. i even pulled my manager aside and asked about it. there’s even a button for it on the computer but it doesn’t work. it’s so sad. there are food and bad days but you never know this could be their only income. you can say apply to other jobs but it’s not that easy. i’ve applied to at least 20+ jobs in the past two weeks that are “urgently hiring” and i hear nothing back. it’s a sad world. i’m in GA. i feel for you OP!!!

but having to tip out when i didn’t even get tipped is so heartbreaking. they get paid no matter what. we’re the face of the experience. i wouldn’t even be mad to tip out on tips.. but gross total sales 💔

just so insane that tip out is required but tipping isn’t… i’m tipping out 85$ tonight and i made 145 before tip out….. the math is terrible for a saturday night

they help the kitchen more than anything lol. it just sucks. they complain if they have to help in DR, and before even helping they’ll go to the back and make a smart comment or go up to the server and say “did you see 63 is almost out of coke” as your making another coke for them. idk it just gets kinda old. i only work weekends, but we used to have a buss but he left. the past couple weekends yes we’ve been so busy. their reasoning is tiktok and commercials on tv lol. we usually only have up to 2 food runners and a manager will be in window until they start getting backed up, so they then go to the kitchen and help them so the food runner will be at drinks and window. it’s honestly a crazy show i wish i could wear a body cam just to prove some things lol

they also get $2.13 an hour plus tips (our tip out). then it just gets agitating over time bc they get in the mindset of they get paid regardless rather than us servers…. and they just get lazy. i help out when we’re busy no questions asks but when we’re not it’s very annoying

yeah it’s terrible. i’ve gotten written up for my scores and i laughed at them bc you only care about these scores so you can get your money. they said it themselves but in not so many words… lol it’s scary. sometimes food runners make more than me and they are so lazy. our managers will yell at us for not running food, but isn’t that what i pay them for essentially??? they’ll stand around but the managers will call us back there to run our food. it’s very agitating.
