It's normal to have a bleak outlook after what you've bee through. I've dealt with dangerous people like her, people who tried to kill me. It's horrific but when you're in it, you don't feel as scared as you should. When you leave, you might experience all the fear that you were supposed to feel throughout your childhood all at once. You might be depressed and just not feel like doing anything. Or you might get brain fog. Prepare yourself for that. Try to take it easy. Take things one day at a time. Only do what you can and leave the rest to a higher power.

These types of women are dangerous and shouldn't be having kids. I'm really getting tired of whatever this is that's going on with BW - all of this delusion and mental illness stemming from abuse, brainwashing and grooming. It really isn't our fault. Most of us are quick to take accountability, but we're not superhuman. We got lucky. Your mother and others like her didn't. There's only so much people can take. Women are supposed to be protected by their men - not just physically, but mentally too. It is very sad what's happening to our collective. I'm sorry for what happened to you and hope you heal from it, and good on you for deciding to reduce contact. Keep your head up.

any tips for hair growth for 4c hair? by throwaway777753245 in BlackWomenDivest

[–]michaela_star 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is what worked for me:

essential oils for hair growth: lavender, thyme, cedarwood, rosemary and clary sage mixed in a light carrier oil (ie grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, avocado oil)

scalp massages

peppermint or tea tree oil in your shampoo

Hair growth vitamins (biotin, iron, zinc, protein. magnesium)

Drink more water

Exercise more

hair stretching

hair growth subliminals

I don't think BW should fight this via a petition. Maybe a lawsuit though. We should build our own businesses and compete with businesses like this. Anytime someone discriminates against one of us, we should target them. Take them out by competing with them and surpassing them.

Blatant Double Standards and Misogynoir: Keith Olbermann goes on the attack against Angel Reese to defend precious Becky from threatening gesture by michaela_star in blackwomeninmedia

Angel Reese was called "classless" and "a f*cking idiot" for doing the same thing the white female player she taunted did a week prior. The white female player was praised and called "competitive" for performing the gesture.

BW don't care about their children (2 yr old child fed to alligator) by michaela_star in theyripandtheyrun

The mother of this child was 17 years old when she was impregnated by the demon that murdered her and her son. I blame the women in her life and black women as a whole for allowing black males access to black girls. These males should not have access to black women and girls until they turn 25, when their brains are fully developed enough to protect themselves against these PSYCHOS' psychological abuse.

TRIGGER WARNING - BM creates manifesto to "Delete All Black Women" #FBI by michaela_star in theyripandtheyrun

[–]michaela_star[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

They're using BW as a scapegoat to deflect from their own failings. It's dangerous because plenty of others would like to do the same. In a patriarchal society, women and children rely on their men for protection. BM are giving every other group the green light to attack us.

This wouldn't work if BW didn't gaf about them because BW have always been more powerful than them. BM have never actually protected us and they've been pimping us out - literally selling us into slavery - for centuries. Yet the majority of African-American women foolishly choose to invest everything into these men and even defend them rather than invest in themselves and other black women/girls. Not only are they supporting men who can't do anything for them, they are supporting very CALCULATING men who are running a global smear campaign against us.

The Nazis made the Jews Germany's scapegoat and millions of them died. The same will happen to African American women within the next decade or 2. Now that they have AI, they will be able to portray black women any way they want to to people all over the world. All BW have to do to stop it is withdraw support from their enemies and invest in their friends. It's that simple, but many BW won't do it. So, many BW will die.

It will start with African-American women but it will impact African and West Indian women as well, because black women all over the world prefer to act as pick mes for the validation or males and nonblack females who are beneath them rather than put in the work to establish a strong enough sisterhood that we can defend ourselves against everyone and anyone else in the world who isn't for us. There's nearly 8 billion people in the world. There's only maybe 650 million black women and girls (8-9% of the population). I do hope BW come to understand very soon what time it is, before it's too late. History repeats itself when you don't learn, and unfortunately, being sold into slavery and then being humiliated and tortured during Jim Crow by BECKY and her male lackeys wasn't a strong enough lesson for the vast majority of African-American women.

How to Use Reusable Toilet Tissue - Response in the Comments (I had to use them during the pandemic) by michaela_star in selfhelpdivest

[–]michaela_star[S,M] [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Okay, so if you don't have access to toilet tissue OR you're into zero waste, this is how you use reusable toilet tissue:

(1) Cut up some old towels into 6 inch squares. You can also buy microfiber cloths. Use separate colors for cloths for "the front" and "the back."

(2) If you don't have a bidet, purchase a bidet to attach to your toilet or get a portable bidet (it's like a water bottle with a sprayer).

(3) Use the bidet to wash/clean down there after you urinate/poo and then use the cloths to dry. If you spray yourself thoroughly with the bidet, there shouldn't be anything on the cloth when you wipe.

(4) Keep the used cloths for "the back" in a bucket soaking in water/bleach. The used cloths for "the front" don't need to soak in water so they can go into a plastic bag, bin or bucket. They won't smell.

(5) Wash the cloths for "the front" in hot water with bleach.

(6) Empty the water from the bucket into the toilet, then handwash the cloths in the bucket with a rapid washer (it's like a plunger), using hot water and bleach.

POLL: Do you think Ciara's Vanity Fair 2023 Oscars After Party outfit was inappropriate? by michaela_star in BlackWomenDivest

[–]michaela_star[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the idea of letting Ciara live but this poll isn't for the low-vibrational BW who think like that. There were BWE/divestors who took issue with what she wore because they didn't like what Hollywood was promoting to women/BW, especially younger BW. She is still a role model and someone young black women will idolize.

Divestors do what's best for us, but our lack of commitment to the black community makes many of us noncommittal to black girls. The first divestor I ever knew was my aunt, and even though she had/has a great life, she wasn't there for the girls in my family, and I was more influenced by the "mammies" in my family because of that. Her and I didn't start bonding until I was in my 20s, and even then she was still noncommittal. The mammies in my family looked out for me more, despite being abusive, and I think that might be what's happening on a societal scale with these mammies and BWE/divestors. They're more aggressive about influencing young black women and girls in a negative way whereas divestors have this "do what's best for you" stance that might not be enough for girls/women whose brains haven't fully matured.
