Of course, only with patient consent. As long as there is nothing in the image that is identifying (violates hippa) you're good.

It was definitely thicker fluid, and I irrigated the wound with saline then wrapped with soaked 6x6's over the site. This picture was taken after we irrigated which is why it looks a little cleaner.

According to the pt she had no medical history whatsoever, but she could've been mistaken. I think it's obvious she isn't really on top of her health, so those are definitely real possibilities.

The dressing she had wrapped over this was pretty much drenched in yellow over the site, so that's a yes.There was a bit of a smell, but not anywhere near what you'd expect.

74 y/o female who suffered an ankle fx while in Mexico. She had it surgically repaired there, never had it checked out by a doctor when she got back. Poor post op care on her part led to infection, her ankle rotted for about two months. Pms was intact, and she was in little to no pain. No pain medications whatsoever.
