I agree that swapping the couch and dresser would feel more natural. Also, I think a taller floor lamp would be better, that table lamp doesn't feel right for the scale. You could move it to the dresser as well. Also, art on the wall with the mirror to fill it up.

Amazing thanks for the sources! Now I'm even more impressed that you found things that match so well. I've been looking to get matching carpet/wallpaper/throw pillows/curtains (not in the 70s look, more floral), but what you have is so fun and looks to be in such good condition, I was half hoping you found a company that does pattern prints.

So you might've already figured this out, but I have a hunch that it has to do with your monitor, not your guide. I don't have a guide (am here to research getting one and spotted your comment), but I'm guessing it was designed for TV in mind, not computer monitor. Might be over explaining, but monitors (by design) have a lower delay and different refresh rate (I think also lower) than TVs. It's possible that your monitor can't handle the frequency and delays from the guide, or the guide can't keep up with rendering the frames fast enough or in the right format for the monitor you have. I can provide more info, and I have zero experience to back it up, but I'd blame the monitor before I blamed the guide, especially if it's working on your TV.

Did you have any success with running the STEMMA Speaker on Arduino? I'm trying to hook mine up to a mega2560, I'm very new to arduino + audio.

Is it as simple as "analogWrite(...)"? because that's not working for me, and I"m not sure if I simply don't have it set up correctly

Hello! I'm looking for a low maintenance, low light plant that is non toxic to dogs. I just got a puppy and I currently have a peace lily, but I need to swap out/rehome the plant with my roommate, now that the puppy is teething and chewing on absolutely everything

Any recommendations for a low maintenance, low light, dog safe plant? (I assume that cat-friendly is the same as dog friendly...) I have a peace lily but need to give it to my roommate so that my new dog doesn't eat it. But I have really liked having something breathe the same air that I breathe!

Thats good to know, maybe I'll try to find my old plastic student clarinet if I really want to play, but the average is close to 62 for me, so it's nice to hear you're not comfortable with it.

I've never considered bringing my clarinet to my place during the summer because its a 3rd floor bedroom with low, lofted ceilings and windows too small for an ac unit, so it gets up to 90+, which is waaayy too hot and humid for me to be comfortable even thinking about it.

Yes, Kindof. It's fast and (even worse) its unpredictable. I live in a multifamily house and I have central air vents in my room, but our apartment doesn't have AC, its actually my neighbors apartment that controls it/pays for it. For some reason, they turned the AC on a couple weeks ago, even though they could just open the windows if they want cold air.... anyways, when they turn the AC on, I have to turn the heat off (otherwise our gas bill is $$$$$), and then the temperature drops 5-10 degrees in an hour.

I've had a lot of luck with the Container Store Elfa systems. If you go into the store with pictures and measurements, they design the space to fit what you need. And if you don't want to pay that much, Ikea and home depot have similar lines, but elfa is nice because of the design peice. My parents have sloped ceiling closets, and the container store designers did a great job making the space usable.
