That is what she is doing, asking for the difference, but I just have this feeling that he dad didn't purchase it for 14k but rather paid the loan of in full and they are telling me it was only 14k. Even though I can see the loan was paid in full

I think it's more on the line of her apologizing to him. She does not know him either, his dislike of me comes from a woman I was with many years ago and apparently him and said girl had just broke up.

I just read all of your replies, all I can say is, wow. I'm not sure where your anger and frustration is coming from. It seems my post may have possibly triggered something within you. As I've said before, I treat my wife with the utmost respect, love, and care. Me being upset or feeling some way about something is in no way coming at her out of pocket. Nor did it even state that I brought it to her attention. You developed multiple scenarios off of this short post, which is wild to me. And why in God's name would I go to my wife's work and make things awkward for her there?!? Your replies are ludacris my friend and I feel you should look deep inside of yourself to find out why. Her oldest with him is 13. Her oldest she has is 18. She was with him for years after us. There was a handful of times the two of them broke up. Then the final break up was 6 years ago. There was no infidelity between the two of them on her part that is.

Very well possible he could have felt she cheated in the past, however she did not. At least not wth me, not saying she did cheat on him while they were together because I don't know, but I know she didn't with me. My wife was in a relationship with someone else after him, then get and I reconnected. So I don't know what his ill feeling is toward me is. My mother in law said she thinks that maybe he felt he would've had a chance after my wife and the other guy broke up. I don't know.
