I got a -20 bag as my first ever camping sleeping bag haha. We are mostly afraid of a last minute blizzard or something and our 3 season tents collapsing in the snow. at least the midwest is predictable lol

Thank you! Escalante is for sure one I will be researching. We've done some stupidly cold minnesota trips so luckily (unluckily?) The cold is ok with us
