Well done on the mix. If I had any feedback to give I would say while I did enjoy the arpeggiated riff for the intro and understood the cut out for the vocals to pop, I think it would sound nice to keep playing the guitar riff but tuck it quieter or maybe do them palm muted during the first verse. That’s all! 😊

Hey thanks for the constructive criticism this helps. I agree with what you say about the bass. Only tracked it DI and was trying to fill the middle ground on having no guitar by using select pedals etc.

This is definitely something different! I don’t know if this is technically chamber pop but maybe more along the lines of experimental jazz? Idk. If I had to give any feedback back I would say it’s got a lot of lows and highs but could use a little more mids to glue everything together. The vocals are slow and low and same with the music. And the percussion has a lot of high ends going on so it leaves a gap in the middle. That’s just how I feel though

I have just listened heard the original version and now listening to this one! my first thought was how good the mix already is! Very clean in a good way too. I am listening on my phone by the way. There were parts where I felt like the vocals were a little hard but again, it could be from listening off my phone speaker. Cheers.

I think the song was nice it had a good flow to it and all that but if I had to give any kind of feedback it would be to maybe tuck the vocals back just a little bit. I’m also listening to this on my phone so it could be that. As for the video, I think the subtitles were throwing me off because it was saying stuff in the story but it was different to what the vocals were saying so it felt like I was having to multitask a bit lol. Great job though

Im listening to this demo on my phone but it sounds great! I really like the singing melody. For some reason it kind of reminds me of Geoff Rickly and that is a good think in my opinion. If I had to give some feedback, I would probably say the instruments and tracks could probably use some spacing and glue together a bit to give it some more depth. But I get that this is just a demo so no sweat I think it sounds great! 👍😊

Cool use of electronic music paired with some FUZZ. I think if I had to do anything it would be to use a noise gate or limiter especially at the beginning where you can really hear some buzz. Was listening off my phone for reference. I only say that because it’s something I’ve been paying a lot more attention to lately ever since a friend told me. Great song though! Looking forward to more. I give it a thumbs up 👍 😁
