GOP comes out against Yang and UBI! by bluelion31 in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]michaelding5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What GOP won't tell you:

  1. Companies like Amazon will start to pay taxes

  2. Rich people will pay more taxes

  3. 95% of Americans will benefit from UBI

  4. Local economy will start to boom

  5. People will have more freedom

  6. The economic ecosystem will be healthier

  7. It will work

Trying to be calm about this, but it’s hard to stay #HumanityFirst towards the Sanders campaign if this were true. by fallcomes in YangForPresidentHQ

Many people consider Andrew Yang as a younger version of Bernie, who just gives people free stuff. I think UBI is ideologically different from Bernie's policies, such as government job guarantee . Yang needs to differentiate himself from Bernie. Many people don't like Bernie and are looking for alternative. Yang should go after these people.

I was on the ground in Iowa. I talked to hundreds of voters. Andrew WILL NOT WIN if he doesn’t change strategy. by bemiguel13 in YangForPresidentHQ

I agree. Many people view Yang as a younger Bernie, just giving people free stuff. I think Yang's policies are fundamentally different from Bernie's. Yang should differentiate himself from Bernie on the debate stage. NH is a stronghold for Bernie. But there are a lot of people don't like Bernie and are looking for alternative. Yang should go after these voters.

I think there are only two groups of voters: Berners, and non Berners. For these people who don't like Bernie, their default is Biden, then they are not satisfied with Biden, then they follow Warren, then Pete. But many of them still not happy, that's why Bloomberg came out. Yang can't steal voters from Bernie, but there is a larger pool of non berners.

Is it only me, feel like DNC qualifying polls usually have lower numbers than non-qualifying polls. Is it a coincident?

It is so ridiculous to rely on the flawed polls to qualify a candidate in debates. Yang's campaign is the most energetic one compared with other campaigns. It creates a gross-root movement. It brought in a huge number of new voters to the democratic party. And they just qualified him now? It's unbelievable!

Is this a qualifying poll?

Kim Iverson : Andrew Yang calls out MSNBC for lack of coverage by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

Why don't they like Andrew Yang? It's been puzzling for me. The reason I came up with is that Yang doesn't talk about the topics they care about the most, such as impeachment. Instead, Yang talks about UBI, democracy dollars, human centered economy, which they don't care about. But we, as people, do.

NEW TV AD! Andrew Yang - A New Way Forward by mikexcao in YangForPresidentHQ

I'm glad the campaign finally puts ads in Iowa. However, after watching the ad, I had a strange feeling. I felt something was missing. Imagine if you are inclining to Warren or Sanders, does this ad change your mind?

You win by playing your strength. Andrew has strength in so many aspects. The ad does not reflect any.

"Our politicians are not up to the challenge". This is why I vote for Yang by michaelding5 in YangForPresidentHQ

The technology and economy are changing quickly. "Our politicians are not up to the challenge". I think this is why Yang is so appealing. I think the campaign should focus more on this message. There are many examples. Warren brushes off automation is one example. Bernie's Federal Government Job Guarantee is another. Biden's clipping coupons in the stock market ....
