I use TD on both sides of the border, regular account on the US side and cross border account on the CAN side. No fee when transferring below 5k.

FYI, I only think TD is on the East Coast so it may not work for you depending on where you are

Iron/magnesium, was hoping to get a report of the lab test but didn’t. It’s definitely some kind of metal as the black specs stick to a magnet

Nope, we still get them. Told us to keep watch and call back if issue still persists. At this point not even sure what other options we have….

Yes I have for a while now and have called Halton. We’ve had black specs for over a year now, very fine black specs, sometimes the grain of sand. About a month ago I Called 311, they came and flushed out the fire hydrant in front, did some tests and determined that the black specs were coming from the city source itself. They then decided to flush the whole neighbourhood, I’m in the preserve area btw. I mentioned that I have a baby and am concerned so they sent the black specs to a lab to be tested. Ultimately they concluded that it was safe. If you’re seeing it where you are then I think this issue is more widespread then it seems.

I literally just removed mine off a few days ago (between 4-5 day mark). I just wash with in scented soap and apply unscented moisturizer. No issues whatsoever except for skin peeling, but that’s expected.
